You do not have to put up with any lamp. In addition to providing the right lighting, which protects the eye and increases concentration, your lamps also help determine the style of your home. Choose from our selection of pendant lamps for a classic and timeless look in your home.
A pendant lamp is a lamp that is mounted in the ceiling via its cord. The cord is 4 meters long and comes in either black or white. The pendant lamps are delivered as written with a 4 meter cord, so that you have the option of shortening the cord to the desired length. In some cases, part of the cord may be an arm, typically made of metal (for example, the Haiku lamp).
Lamps that collect the light can hang relatively high above the dining table, typically between 80-100 cm. Whereas pendulums that scatter the light must hang relatively low, typically between 55-60 cm above a table. When setting up, light source glare should also be checked for children and not so tall people. In cases where the lamp is to be placed so that there is a clear view of the light source and thus generating glare, it is recommended that you choose a lamp with a ring that prevents this glare. Dillen and Bissen are examples of pendant design lamps with a built-in ring.
A wall lamp is mounted on the wall. Often a wall lamp with mounting box comes as an end to the wall lamp. The mounting box is typically delivered in the same color as the lampshade and can be screwed onto the wall via the included brackets. The mounting box can be supplied with a switch so that the lamp can be switched on or off individually.
